April 28, 2013 at 2pm: Art as Muse, the Tacoma Art Museum's Author Series that I am speaking at this coming Sunday is co-sponsored by the Seattle7Writers, a nonprofit collective of Northwest authors that promotes literacy and a passion for the written word. This year, the Tacoma Art Museum chose to organize a children's book author series around its high-profile exhibit of Eric Carle's work. I will be talking about and doing a Buddy Poems workshop on Thinking Musically and the rhythm of language in writing. Here is a link to the Museum's webpage about the Series:
